Our History
In May 2002, after two years of planning and searching for a strategically located location, Raíces Restaurant opened its doors in the municipality of Caguas. Nydia (waitress) and Erick (chef) began what they had dreamed of and longed for for so long: the opening of their own restaurant. With great success they managed to expand and open new facilities at Calle Recinto Sur #315 in Old San Juan, in 2006. In December 2014-2020 a third location opened its doors for the executive jibaro and the Puerto Rican family at Trocadero Diverplex – in front of the Puerto Rico Coliseum. What began in Caguas with the illusion and great faith to achieve it, today is a Revolution on Calle Loíza, February 2022.
